Skirt Board Rubber is made of SBR or Natural Rubber, It is common to every conveyor application and paramount in the prevention of spillage at material loading points. It is a specifically designed rubber sheet used as sealing strip on conveyor system loading, transfer and discharge points.

★ Temperature: -20°C up to +80°C (+90°C intermittent).
★ Goog abrasion and weather resistance.
★ Low maintenance cost.
★ Excellent containment and sealing.

Skirt Board Rubber

SBR skirtboard rubber has great advantages over wooden boards, chute lining or worn belting. Skirtboard rubber is slightly softer than conveyor belting, yet stiff enough to properly guide materials being handled. As a result, skirtboard greatly reduces wear on belting.

Skirt Board Rubber Application

Skirt Board is compounded specially for holding material on conveyor belting without excessive spillage. It is used across various industries, from mining to food processing.

Why Choose OrientFlex SBR Skirtboard Rubber

  • Reduce Spillage: Skirt rubber is used to create a seal between the conveyor and chute wall to prevent material spillage. This saves cleaning and maintenance costs, and reduces the risk of accidents.
  • Improve conveyor efficiency: By preventing spillage, skirt rubber ensures more material reaches its destination, resulting in increased conveyor efficiency and productivity.
  • Extend belt life: Skirt rubber acts as a cushion between the belt and chute, reducing belt wear. This extends the life of the belt and reduces replacement costs.
